Bahati's wife Diana Marua has decided to come clean about her struggle with acne and hormonal breakouts.
speaking on her youtube channel, she shared how she developed acne immediately after the birth of her second child.

the pressure to clear the acne caught up with her as she needed to look good for the cameras as their show Bahati reality was already in progress.
upon reaching out to her friends, they introduced her to a new product that did more damage. her face became swollen and itchy with pigments around her face. The situation was so bad for her that she had to go to the hospital for checkup.

Many of you will never get the courage to post such because of your vulnerability and probably embarrassment, it's allowed, your sanity matters. I got the courage to do this video and I would like you to learn from it. I've never gone atleast two days without posting anything on social media, who would have known what I went through? People out here are so mean and rogue. I'm glad I'm not easily taken down by words especially from people I don't know. I see people getting bashed online for various reasons. That person may look strong but you don't know how they feel deep down. They probably cry themselves to sleep, others even get into depression. Let's Spread Love and Kindness. It doesn't cost a dime. describing this as her lowest point in life, she narrated how she felt bad about herself considering how hurtless people can be on social media.
Her face is back to normal now and her advice to women is to be careful with the products they use and avoid generic products as they might do more damage than good.
