Irene Nekesa, the former house manager at Diana Marua and Bahati's household, has addressed claims that she was fired.
Speaking with Dem wa Facebook and Mama county in a video shared on her YouTube channel, Irene clarified the circumstances around her leaving, addressing rumours that have been making rounds on social media.
Irene said she had been working with Diana Marua for close to seven years and they parted ways on good terms.
"Tumeachana kwa amani. Nimekaa nao vizuri," Irene Nekesa said dismissing rumours of being fired from the Bahati's mansion.
Irene said she had reached a point where she was encouraged to pursue her own growth and opportunities.
According to Irene, her bosses Bahati and Diana have been nice to her in the almost 7-year period she got to work for them and she still loves them while outside starting her own life.
"Tumekaa nao sana. Angekuwa mbaya singekaa hiyo siku zote. Mimi napenda Diana jinsi alivyo... Ajue kwenye niko nampenda. Wamenilea na wamelea mtoto wangu pia. Tumeachana kwa amani na najua Mungu atawabariki kwenye wako," Irene partly said.
Irene also addressed the claim that she and Diana Marua had unfollowed each other on social media.
Some fans speculated that the unfollowing was a sign of bad blood between them, but Irene quickly clarified this. She explained that any unfollowing might have been accidental, as she was unaware of it.
Irene expressed gratitude for everything Diana Marua and Bahati had done for her. She explained that she had learned much from her time with them.
Irene is now focusing on creating content on social media, exploring other employment opportunities
