Kenyans have sympathized with a lady who was humiliated and pushed aside when she asked for help at Pastor Ng’ang’a’s church after her door was locked due to rent arrears.

During a prayer service, a woman tearfully told the Neno Evangelism founder that her door had been locked for a week because of rent arrears and she didn’t know what to do.

To the surprise of many, the pastor refused to help her and said she should go and stay in the houses built by the Affordable Housing Program of the government.

“Do not bring me any financial problems, I only deal with spiritual matters. Go to the police, or to Sakaja,” said the pastor.

The video which is making rounds on social media has attracted alot of reactions from Kenyans.

Bradox Mboya: " This is extremely disheartening 💔

May our mothers never endure such public humiliation🙏."

YvonneAfrostreet: " This guy is getting out of hand

Why humiliate this woman like this na anakula sadaka yake

It’s not right at all 😢😢😢."

Traccie Goldie: " And to think That every believer know and has faith that they can get help from the house of God or even the prophet of God,buh this maaan!I think he is an embarrassment to God and his teachings,May God grant you peace and sollace mamaa❤️❤️❤️❤️."

Irma Sakwa: " Reason why our children left the church. Weuh...never humiliate someone's mother haki. She sort refuge and consolation in church not necessarily to beg for handout but to find peace. Yet the man of God where she plants her tithe and offering ended up humiliating her. I feel her desperation and how overwhelmed her situation is. Pastor Nganga as a man of God where's is your empathy? Na wenye Bado mnaenda hiyo kanisa are you normal?"

Many have also offered to help the struggling woman pay her rent arrears and also provide financial help to make sure she gets on her feet.
