Brian Chira's Grandma is on the spot after she announced her desire to sell the Ksh 8 million house TikTokers bought her, citing poor security and long distance from the main road.

According to a video making rounds on social media, Chira's grandma told TikToker Obidan Dela that she needed an electric fence as the area was insecure.

She recounted how the school bus that picks up her grandchild slid in the mud that morning, and in the evening, it had to drop him far from home to avoid getting stuck.

Chira’s grandmother further hinted that she wanted to sell the house.

“It would take time before I sell this and get another house. Some containers are built well. I don't want this area.”

The granny added that her previous home was much more convenient as it was closer to the road, making her current situation even more difficult.

She confessed that she no longer sleeps in peace, constantly living in fear, and now feels she cannot continue staying there. Despite appreciating the beautiful and modern nature of the house, she admitted the location no longer sits right with her.

“Unajua mimi nilikuwa naona si hata kuna container zinajengwa vizuri. Si kunazo? Inakaa kama nyumba kabisa. Hiyo ni mzuri. Hii area hii mi Obidan sitaki. Roho yangu inakataa kabisa. Na unaona vile hii nyumba iko very smart,” she said.

TikTok community came together to fulfill the dream of the late TikToker Brian Chira by building a modern house for his grandmother.

Chira tragically lost his life in a hit-and-run accident in Karuri, Kiambu County. A friend who was with him explained that Chira had been to a local club and had had too much to drink.

over the Ksh 8 million  was contributed for Chira's funeral, which included money for his grandma's house.

In August last year, the Grandma held a house opening ceremony following the completion of her new house.

Some tiktokers have expressed that they are not comfortable with the idea of selling the house which they built inorder to fulfill Chira's wishes.
