Kenyan couple Brian Muchiri And Jane Karumba have been Showered With Gifts After Video Of Their engagement went Viral attracting over 1.7 million views.
Brian Muchiri proposed to his girlfriend on valentine's and Kenyans flocked the comment section to offer him almost everything the wedding needs.
On his YouTube channel, he expressed gratitude to all those who have offered to help adding that he never expected that kind of support.
"We are still in shock! After sharing our proposal video, the love and kindness from all of you has been overwhelming. Strangers—people who don’t even know us personally—have offered to help plan our wedding and provide everything we need. We never expected this level of support, and we are so grateful," he wrote.
Brian has been in a wheelchair since he was involved in a crash as a teenager. In a previous interview, he shared that he was on his way home from a night out with his four friends when they were hit by a truck.
Three of his friends died and his spine was broken in three different places which left his paralysed from armpits down.
At the time, he was a student at Jkuat. He had to drop out indefinitely after the accident.
Muchiri is an activist, storyteller, writer and content creator. He is the founder of strong spine foundation, an organisation that seeks to create accurate awareness about disability.
