Kilimani Estate in Nairobi has been ranked 28th in coolest neighbourhoods category all over the world.
The estate was ranked the top in Africa according to latest reports by timeout. It was also praised for its vibrant culture and how the night essentially roars to life with the party with several clubs, bars and restaurants.
Kilimani was also considered due to its accessibility, good street vibes, big community, affordable food, great night life and culture.
Other estates in Africa that made it to the list are Sea Point in Cape Town at position 38 and Festac Town in Lagos, Nigeria, which emerged at position 50.
Guadalajara, Mexico, also known as Colonial Americana, emerged as the top neighbourhood worldwide.
