Langata Member of Parliament Jalango has set the record straight after a past photo of him and Diana Marua circulated online.
Fans had speculated that the two had a relationship in the past after Diana's confession to dating wealthy men for financial gains.
Speaking on an interview with Mungai Eve, Jalango said they took the photo a while back but they have never been in a romantic relationship.
"I remember that photo must have been taken in 10-15 years old at Jamia mall. I think Diana had come in to buy clothes and she was already a superstar by then. She requested for a photo and I took a photo with her. I have never dated Diana. Diana has been my friend for the longest time and even when we took that photo it was just a good photo.”
Jalango said he felt sorry for Diana for what was posted between him and her, adding that he didn't know Diana was trending till a friend brought the story to his attention.
