Fans are displeased with popular boy band Sautisol for showing up late and performing just a few songs at their own concert.
Sol Fest took place on Saturday night at KICC, eager fans arrived early waiting for their favourite artists but were disappointed when the group arrived at 3am.
The group also performed for about 45 minutes, took photos with some fans and then left the venue.
Here are some feedback from fans.
"All these people came to see you perform and you did them a disservice coming in at 3am after being begged to come on stage."
"How do you perform at 3am for only 37mins. That’s underperforming and you know it. How come no one bashed you guys last year when you delivered."
"You can’t come in at 3AM, sing a handful of songs, change, have fireworks and photos then leave the stage all in less than 45 minutes. Like that was not fair to your audience at all. 3AM ? C’mon."
" Take responsibility and stop running away from the truth. Showing up at stage at 3am and dropping a bare minimum was proper disrespect to a crowd that started streaming there as early as 4pm. People had to literally start shouting Sautisol for you to show up."
" Why 3am for a concert that started at noon though? Night guards like me who bought your tickets for a day show are disappointed.''
''Take responsibility for your subpar delivery and stop playing victim. We love you guys but you have made it a habit to do us dirty.''
Other artists who performed at solfest include Tanzanian Bongo Star Harmonize, South African Amapiano artist Costa Tich, Nadia Mukami, Octopizzo, Juliani, Fathermo, Brandy Maina, Fena Gitu, Nviiri the story Teller and Ben Soul.
The fans expressed their frustrations in the comment section of a tweet by Savara.
