Social media users lauded him for enjoying himself and pulling off great dance moves.

Speaking of his viral video, he said that it was not planned at all. After doing patrol work, he went with his colleagues to a food joint for late lunch.
At that time, he was also working undercover on a drug abuse case. It is at this point the DJ played Kuna Kuna.

Speaking on an interview with Citizen digital, John said the video has helped him especially in his line of work since he has become relatable to the youth.
