Gospel musician Nicah the Queen is suing Luo artist Emma Jalamo for defamation.
The law firm representing Nicah the Queen said the client is suing Emma Jalamo for his post on Facebook ' Jaoda Nicah' which means my wife Nicah.
According to the advocates, the statement was misunderstood which tarnished Nicah's name as a gospel artist, a wife and a mother.
They claimed that Emma Jalamo made it look like Nicah is a prostitute, an unfaithful married woman and a person with appetite for extramarital affairs.
According to the letter, Emma Jalamo intentionally hurt Nicah the Queen especially since the comment section was filled with condemnation.
" The said words were understood to mean that our client is immoral, unfaithful married woman with appetite for extramarital affairs, and therefore not deserving to be a gospel artist. The words posted on Facebook circulated by you and your followers intended to defame our client. By publishing and distributing the post, you have caused damage to our client's hard earned reputation.
The letter demanded that Emma Jalamo takes liability and for him to retract the publication together with an apology in the next seven days.
Earlier, Nicah the Queen called out Emma Jalamo for sending her Ksh 200k and a ticket to Malaysia, Despite her explaining that she was in a serious relationship.
She claimed that the Luo artist was sabotaging her relationship with her fiancee DJ Slahver.
