Luo artist Emma Jalamo has been arrested.
According to a post shared by Gospel musician Nicah the Queen, Jalamo was arrested to teach a lesson to those spoiling the reputation of others.
"And this should be a lesson to many! #jesusgurl."
Emma Jalamo had shared a photo of Nicah the Queen on his social media accounts where he claimed she was his wife.
Nicah also revealed that Emma Jalamo sent her Ksh 200k even after she told him she was in a serious relationship with her fiancee DJ Slahver.
After reimbursing the money, She shared a post that she was visiting the coast and Emma Jalamo followed her there. She narrated how he offered her a ticket to Malaysia and blank cheques. The musician claimed that she met up with Emma Jalamo to confront him.
Someone however took photos of them together and shared them with her fiancee DJ Slahver who blocked her and left her alone with the children in Mombasa.
According to a demand letter shared by the law firm representing Nicah the Queen, Emma Jalamo intentionally hurt Nicah the Queen and spoiled her hard earned reputation.
They claimed that the publication shared by Emma Jalamo was misinterpreted to mean that Nicah is a prostitute, an unfaithful married woman with appetite for extramarital affairs and therefore not deserving to be a gospel artist.
The demand letter required Emma Jalamo to retract his statement and delete the social media posts and to publicly apologize for defamation within seven days.
Fans on social media however think the two are creating a story to chase clout before releasing their new song.
Below are some comments:
"Kama ni kiki I hope hyo ngoma ni Kali."
"If you have to seek attention before releasing a song, you ought to try something else. Do not force issues😀😂."
"Hii ni police station gani... na kwani mnataka hii ngoma ikue na views ngapi😂."
"Hii ndio ile part ya Ngoma penye anashikwa juu ya Love 😂😂."
"So the letter is dated 27th with a grace period of 7 days and the next day he''s been arrested?"
