Kenyan comedian and content creator Eric Omondi has bailed out a Kenyan sales lady who was sentenced to 3 months in jail for shouting in the streets of Nairobi.
Joyce Naserian was arrested by the city council for shouting while inviting customers to buy her products. She revealed she had been employed by a foreigner and her salary was commission-based.
She was later sentenced to three months in Langata women prison after failing to pay Ksh 10,000 cash bail.
Today, Eric Omondi visited the prison and bailed her out together with two other ladies.
Eric Omondi also thanked Bernice Saroni for offering Joyce Naserian a job.
"We have released Joyce naserian from Langata Women Prison. She was to spend 3 months in Prison for a petty offence with a fine of only Ksh 10,000 she can now go back to her Children. We also Released Nicole. @bernicesaroni thank you for coming through and offering her a job. God bless. We also Release Naomi today."
