Kenyan Tik Tok Queen Azziad Nasenya has left fans amazed after sharing photos of her face when she was struggling with acne and one year after she started treatment.

In the video shared on social media, Azziad shows her face when she was fighting breakouts, redness and even blackouts to a smooth clear face showing she is steadily recovering from acne that was proving uncontrollable.

Last year, she revealed that she battled acne and hyperpigmentation for a long time.

To kick off her healing journey, she visited a dermatologist while being consistent in her skin care routine.

"I visited a dermatologist and we evaluated and found out that my acne is genetic, my mom and aunts used to have it."

In 2020 she had a major breakthrough her skin cleared but the success was short-lived.

"My skin cleared out towards the end of the year. It was perfect and then I thought I finally overcame acne. Little did I know that it was to come back even worse. January 2021 it came back lightly on my forehead. I thought it was a joke but then it decided to come back. It was so bad."

A beautician helped her identify her triggers and this helped so much in healing her skin.

"I went to see this lady, she is not a dermatologist but a beautician. She does monthly facials, she told me I have oily skin and I needed to go home and find out what my triggers were. For that first month I realized  I’m allergic to too much protein."

The Tik Tok star said she is proud of the way her skin is improving. She also gave some tips to people dealing with acne.

"Its been a journey . For anyone dealing with acne few tips. People will say you must have money ,this is half true. We have seen a lot of individuals who have good skin yet they don't have money,we have seen people with money with textured skin too. Don't listen to online self proclaimed dermatologist because everyone will want to give you a prescription what to do what to not do. People will be harsh and they will bully you and will come up with whatever reasons as to why you have acne.Don't listen, see a professional get help because people can be so ignorant about this topic, be patient and find what works for your skin. We are all different and we have different skin types😊."
