Kenyan Gospel Musician Mercy Masika has shared on how prayers opened up doors for her to meet her husband.
Speaking in an interview with Citizen digital, The award winning musician said she asked God to give her a husband and a week later she met the love of her life.
Mercy Masika and her husband David Muguro met the year after graduating from campus and got married one year later.
"I asked God to show me the person and funny enough, we met the next week and I knew on the first day that he was the one. A lot of people have messed up by not marrying the right people towards what God wants you to achieve. I was intentional about the prayer, so we got married. It was a beautiful wedding and we got three children."
In a previous interview, Mercy shared that she met her husband while she was performing at a wedding and he was the photographer. After the wedding he asked her to perform at his wedding when he gets married and they exchanged contacts.
The 'Mwema' hitmaker said she grew up in a Christian home since her parents were ministers. She was serious about God from a very tender age adding that there is satisfaction she God from knowing God at a young age.
