Kenyan Genge artist Jua Cali has spoken out after facing criticism in his new album 'Utu Uzima'.

The musician dismissed claims that his album is a big flop revealing that the album is doing well on other streaming platforms such as Spotify, iTunes, Audimack and it is also trending on Tik Tok.

The legendary musician disclosed that it took him three years to record the album and also urged his fans to continue supporting him out of their own will.

"I took 3 good years to record hii Album the way it's structured you are supposed to love the music on your own without outside influence, kuna watu kadha already wanainconsider a classic so ukipata time skiza utapenda UTU UZIMA Available on all streaming platforms. Shukran WAGENGE."

For the past few days, Netizens have been discussing Jua Cali’s album – a section terming it a flop as far as YouTube numbers are concerned. 

'Utu Uzima' is his fifth album which a classic blend of vintage and newskul sound. 

Jua Cali has featured a number of newskul artists in this project but he has kept it fresh in all the collaborations and maintained his genge touch at the same time.
