Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan has addressed people who are claiming that she got married fast out of pressure.
Zari claimed that there are people saying she had a traditional islamic wedding known as Nikkah just because someone else in another country got married.
"Shakib did not just wake up and decided to marry me out of pressure, just because someone in another country got married. It is not a competition. Was that the first person to get married."
Zari said that when it comes to her it's always an issue and people always find reasons to criticize her just because she is living her own life.
The socialite revealed that last year Shakib joking said he wanted to marry her and this time during Ramadan when he visited South Africa, he arranged everything with the Sheikh and in 48 hours everything was ready.
She revealed that she is happy and she is living in her own lane and people should stop projecting their misery on her.
Zari Hassan and Shakib Lutaaya got married in a private ceremony held in South Africa.
In a video shared on social media, Shakib was captured putting a ring on Zari's finger. He then shared a photo and captioned it ,"Happy is the man who finds a true friend. Congrats the Lutaayas."
