Kenyan Gospel Artist Stephen Kasolo has revealed that he and his wife Grace lived separately for years before they were legally married.
The musician revealed that he and his recently wed wife Grace Mbeneka lived separately for five years even though they share a child together.
The gospel singer revealed that he impregnated Grace in 2018 (a year after the two met) and couldn't move in together because they weren't legally married.
"We got our child in 2018 when Grace was still in school, and because her parents are bishops, we couldn't move in together before marriage. I used to visit my daughter (Shine) and wife regularly and would lie we were married just to avoid being judged."
Kasolo and Grace tied the knot on April 15th, 2023 in a beautiful ceremony held in Karen. He revealed that he spent so much on the wedding and he had help from friends as well. He shared that his Wife's wedding gown was imported and his suit came from Turkey.
"Nilikuwa nimejipanga (I had set aside enough money for the wedding), and my friends came through for me. Ni neema (It's God's grace)."
