Kenyans have expressed their concerns after a viral video of musician Colonel Mustafa Working in a construction site.

The video shows the legendary artist carrying stones at a construction site and handing them over to masons, as well as mixing sand and water.

The video has elicited mixed reactions, with some Kenyans criticizing Mustafa for apparently going broke, despite having lived a lavish lifestyle in the past.

While some Kenyans have criticized the Nairobi diaries actor for squandering his money when he was in the limelight, others have lauded him for hustling like other men instead of asking his fans for financial assistance.

Below are some comments from social media:

"Colonel Mustapha is just hustling like every man should. His fake life in music videos cannot be used to determine what his lifestyle ought to be like."

"You-all should stop criticizing this man, He's Willing to make a change despite going broke, He has accepted the fact and he's willing to change."

"I see nothing wrong with the video, falling back and getting up is part of the journey. Let the man hustle."

In 2022, the 'Katika' hitmaker disclosed he was suffering from depression after exiting the TV series Nairobi Diaries.

"It's been five years since I released music. Now I am back," he said. "I had depression at some point, like two or three years after I left 'Nairobi Diaries' and things went bad."
