Kenyan content creators Sheryl Gabriella and Kabugi have set the record straight concerning their relationship.
The two who were perceived to be dating claimed they have never been in a romantic relationship but they grew together in content creation and became a family.
In a video shared on their YouTube channel, they said they are great at making skits together but their relationship is strictly professional.
"As Kabugi and Sheryl we have never dated, or been a couple. We have been executing our characters so well that you guys think there is more but there is none."
Speaking in an interview with Nicholas Kioko, the two said acting as a couple has its limit especially when they have to work with some clients and fans make it hard by asking some questions openly making the client uncomfortable.
Sheryl revealed she is single but she is focusing on her life and content creation and not looking for love.
Last year, on Kabugi's birthday, Sheryl surprised him with a lump sum of money and a gift parcel.
Speaking with Kioko, she claimed that she surprised him because they are close friends and she had to do something nice for his birthday.
Kabugi also set the record straight about their trip to the coast together with Sheryl's son, adding that the young boy will forever be his family because they have established a bond.
The two promised to continue with content creation just like they did before when fans assumed they were dating.
