Langata member of parliament Phelix Odiwuor is the influencer most followed by Millennials and Gen Zs According to a new report on consumer trends.

Jalang'o topped the list with 27% followers. The report also indicated that the millennials mostly who follow Jalang’o are mostly from Nyanza and Eastern Kenya.


He was followed by Daniel Ndambuki, also known as Churchill, Eric Omondi secured the third position, while Esther Akoth, alias Akothee, claimed the fourth position with 24, 22, 21, percent respectively.


Blogger Edgar Obare and media personality Betty Kyalo tied at fifth with 19 per cent. 


Njugush and Radio presenter Kamene Goro scooped position six with 15 per cent.  

Boys band Sauti Sol, artiste Tanasha Donna, Influencer Diana Bahati and Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai made it to the list with 13 per cent following.

The report indicated that 44 per cent of millennials and Gen Z spend more than four hours a day on social media, which is more than triple the number they spend on the radio(13 per cent) and TV(12 per cent). 

The report also indicated that 52per cent of millennials and Gen Zs have never paid for content and those who paid were paying for trending news, sports news, general current affairs news and political news.
