Viral Song 'Rieng Genje' known by its popular lyrics 'Cash crop ya Nyandarua ni Mawaru', 'Kaveve kazoze',  'unibebe hadi mbere ya kerende', has been deleted from YouTube.

The song by spider clan, which features trending gengetone artist Ngesh bad gal wa Vasha was deleted from YouTube due to a copyright claim made by an unknown producer.

Speaking in an interview with 2mbili TV, Ngesh said they have no idea who the producer is and why he copyrighted the song yet they have never worked together.

She revealed that they opened the YouTube account using one of the brother's cell phone and noone outside their group has their log in details.


2mbili expressed that it is sad for someone to claim copyright to a song after it has gone viral. The song had over 300k views on YouTube.

Content creator 2mbili told Ngesh he will try his best to find the producer who made the copyright claim, inorder to restore the song on YouTube.
