Kenyan media personality Kamene Goro is displeased with a content creator who asked a question about her body count in the presence of her husband DJ Bonez.
Kamene Goro and her husband were talking to journalists in Mombasa when one of them expressed an interest in Kamene's personal life.
The content creator asked Kamene how she dealt with trolls after she disclosed her body count to the public years ago and also asked if the body count has increased from the last time she disclosed the number.
In response, Kamene Goro said it was disrespectful to ask her such a question in the presence of her husband. She added that most of the time people forget that celebrities and public figures are people with emotions and feelings. She told the content creator to accord her respect just like she has respected her and refrain from asking people such questions.
" It is so offensive to ask me such a question when my husband is seated right here with me, public figures are also people. Give me the same respect I have also given you."
Her husband DJ Bonez supported her remarks by saying that people should focus on the future and not the past adding that he has a bad past as a DJ but he is determined on moving forward.
Kamene went viral in 2018 after she revealed that she had a body count of 27 at the moment at only 26 years of age.
In an interview with True Love magazine, the radio presenter said that her revelation brought along repercussions from many sides making it the one of the worst moments of her life.
She went on to say that many corporate organizations she was working with at the time dropped her after the confession on live radio.
“It was one of the worst periods of my life. Not that I regret what I said, but the backlash was huge. A lot of corporates dropped me and even my employer at the time [NRG radio] put me on an ice block. It was treble just for sharing an honest fact."
