Kenyan Gengetone Artist Jeremiah Chege, well known as Zzero Sufuri has shared details about his personal life and his career before venturing into music.

Speaking in an interview with Pov Podcast, the 'Zimenishika' hit maker said music is his life and he takes it serious since it saved him from a tough situation.

The musician who hails from Dagoretti Nairobi said he came from a humble background. His parents however always encouraged him to work hard and be a decent person.

He revealed that he was a peddler and he used to sell weed. He revealed that before becoming a big artist he was going through alot and at some point he was harmless.

"Nilikuwa Pedi, nilikuwa nauza Ndom. Zimenishika ilinipata kama nimelala nyuma ya generator ya supermarket.

He used to record ciphers with his buddies from Dagoretti. They could rap and sing but it was all for fun. He wrote stories and thought of converting the stories into music songs.

Zzero Sufuri became famous in 2019 and since then he has released alot of songs. He encouraged his fans not to give up in life as tough situations always come to an end.

Zzero Sufuri shared that he has a new album set to be released soon.
