Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi took the initiative to help needy Kenyans by acting like a beggar while in the united Kingdom.

Eric Omondi posted a video on Instagram of himself begging for money while seated on the floor. In the video, he is seen holding a sign that reads, “Things are very bad. Please help.”

In the video, passerbys are seen donating money to the comedian who says he will use it to buy unga for Kenyans and laptops for upcoming content creators.

"Wakiomba tunaomba...While in the UK I took sometime to Raise some money in the Streets of London to come and support fellow Kenyans juu sasa nikubaya. I managed to Raise Ksh 340,000 which I will use to buy Unga for a few Kenyans and Laptops for upcoming Content Creators."

Eric Omondi travelled to London days ago to prove a point to Trade CS Moses Kuria. This came after the CS revealed on live TV that he sponsored a trip to the USA for the comedian 7 years ago, an act he now regrets.

In his response, Eric Omondi shared a video of him while in a plane and he started that he was seated in the business class just taking himself to London for lunch.

Eric Omondi has been distributing maize flour to Kenyans in the streets something that always lands him in trouble. He has been vocal about the high cost of living and a strong advocate for change.
