Kenyans on social media have expressed a mixture of reactions after a video of media personality Kamene Goro Washing Omena With Soap and Disinfectant emerged.
Kamene and Oga Obinna had a cooking session on their YouTube channel and Obinna asked Kamene to cook Omena and he would cook his then compare.
Kamene Goro's husband DJ Bonez and Obinna were treated to a surprise when Kamene poured hot water in a basin, added soap, disinfectant and the Omena.
She claimed that if you want to eat clean food you have to clean it thoroughly. The two men couldn't hide their shock but she assured them that she has done it before and there was no case of food poisoning.
She then continued to clean the soapy Omena by rubbing it between her hands adding that she would rinse it after soaking for a few minutes.
The video was posted on Nairobi Gossip's Instagram page and below are some reactions:

Some other fans claimed that Kamene was doing that as part of content creation since the chemicals she used are dangerous for human consumption.
