Kenyan singer Jovial has said she is done being a good person since it does not come with any benefits to her.
In an Instagram story post, the singer expressed that being good involves giving a lot and not receiving. "I am done being the good girl, always giving and not receiving!", she wrote.
She feels that she has been giving for years and forcing people to like her but she is now done with such crap. Being good has been draining to Jovial majorly because she is an artist.
"You give and give till you have nothing left to give! People hate it when you say 'No' because they are used to being told yes. They don't like you, they like what you offer. Wahitaji kidogo, and they are unavailable", part of her post read.
Finally, the post noted that being a good person is equivalent to a curse since you hurt yourself trying to make other people happy and then after you die poor, everybody will now be saying "alikuwa mtu mzuri".
