Bongo superstar Ali Kiba alias King Kiba has said that signing divorce papers is not an issue to him. During a press conference at Westwood hotel on June 21st, 2023, Ali Kiba expressed his will to sign the divorce papers without hesitation.
Ali Kiba was asked how he manages to keep a low profile despite his fame and the Mahaba hitmaker responded by saying, "Sometimes there are sweet dramas and then there are boring (dramas).
Adding, "I don’t entertain any of them. People create dramas and scandals, but the results of treating that stress are hard. If you can’t solve it, then leave it and leave it to God, and if you have to solve it, then solve it. Then you have to relax, and even that divorce paper is not a problem".
Did you miss this?
This comes barely a week after his Kenyan wife Amina Khalef made a public request to him to sign the divorce papers.
According to Amina, it has been too hard watching her husband live freely doing whatever he wants while she remains trapped in the marriage just to protect his brand.
She added that enough is enough and a time has come for her to share publicly in an attempt to get the papers signed and move on with her life.
The two tied the knot in 2018 and on February 2022, Amina filed for divorce at the Mombasa Kadhi's court.
While his marriage did not last for long, Ali Kiba has had a two-decade long music career with his hit song Mahaba currently ruling the airwaves. He is set to perform in Naivasha at the WRC Safari Rally.
He will then continue to fly to Malindi on July 1 before concluding the tour in Meru on July 8.
Alikiba shared that he chose Kenya as the first destination for the tour as a gesture of appreciation for the unwavering support he has received from Kenyan fans since the beginning of his career.
