Music copyright society of Kenya (MCSK) boos Ezekiel Mutua has expressed his interest in supporting Kenyan rapper Stevo Simple Boy.

Speaking in a recent interview, Ezekiel Mutua said Stevo is talented and it would be a shame to see his music career go down the drain.

Ezekiel Mutua also asked for help in reaching out to Stevo so that they can have a meeting and decide on how to help him.

"I think I want to reach out to him. If he has any problem, I can promise you that tomorrow (today), I'll be with him. We cannot lose a talent like that. Tell him he has a brother and we got his back. If I can meet him I will appreciate. We have guests we can connect him and more importantly we are helping him locally. We will sort this out, he's in safe hands."

This comes days after Stevo's wife Grace Atieno revealed that the musician is struggling financially.

Grace accused Stevo's management men in business, of taking advantage of the musician and having full control over his life.

She added that the situation is so tough and at times they can't afford basic needs such as food.

Days later the management (MIB) terminated contract with Stevo Simple Boy.

Since the revelation, several Kenyans and celebrities such as Eric Omondi and Mulamwah have chipped in with basic necessities and money to help the rapper take care of his family.
