Kenyan entertainer Oga Obinna has urged Kenyan fans to emulate Ugandan fans and treat comedians in a more warm and appreciative manner. In a post on his Instagram page, Oga Obinna praised Ugandan fans subject to how they treated him and asked Kenyan fans to be like them.
According to Oga Obinna, Ugandan fans pay for tickets, arrive on time, sit, and watch the show with an open mind. Ugandan fans take jokes lightly while Kenyan fans are easily offended by some jokes.
Part of the post read, "Kenyan fans kindly be like Ugandan Fans. After paying for tickets, they arrive on time, sit and watch the show with an open mind. Some jokes Kenyan fans find offensive in UG they receive them as what they are, JOKES!".
In addition to enjoying the show, they still rewarded Obinna with extra cash while he was on stage. He received an amount equivalent to Ksh 334,000.
"I got a total equivalent of (Ksh 334k) on stage just from the fans who enjoyed the show. At first, I did not understand why they were giving me money, coz in Kenya I'm always the one giving. My apologies. Uganda, I'm forever grateful", he posted.
