A video of extravagant student leader campaigns in the USIU is doing rounds on social media. The video shows students who went all in to campaign for the upcoming University elections.
The potential student leader used two horses and a fleet of expensive cars that are only accessible to the filthy rich Kenyans.
Behind the two horses was a Toyota V8, followed by a Toyota Fortuner, a fully equipped and branded public address Canter, and other chase cars that were used by security and members of the campaign team.
While the capital intensive campaigns surprised many Kenyans, some Kenyans made funny comments after Nairobi Gossip Club posted the video on their Instagram page.
"Alafu utapata comrades wa UON ndo wana dance kwa hio lorry", one fan commented. Another one wrote, "alafu kuna sisi, bursary ndo haijatoka".
The USIU campaign video was an illustration that some Kenyans are really doing well irrespective of the economy being bad.
