Mugithi singer Samidoh Muchoki has revealed that the expensive liquor bottle he received from his baby mama Karen Nyamu as a father's Day gift was fake.

Samidoh was responding to a fan who asked whether the Ksh 420K liquor he received is still in the fridge or he drank it already.

He shared that the gift was not real and the video was meant for social media clout. He added that people should not take everything they see on social media, too seriously.

"Hizo ni vipindiree za social media. Usichukulie serious Sana, naeza rogwa bure."

US based Kenyan entrepreneur Sue Gacambi also shared a video claiming that Karen Nyamu did not in fact buy the liquor but she was advertising the liquor store.

She claimed that Karen does not have enough money to spend such a huge amount on alcohol.

On father's Day, the nominated senator revealed that she splashed thousands of shillings in an attempt to get her baby daddy Mugithi singer Samidoh Muchoki a perfect gift.

In a video shared on social media, Karen Nyamu was seen walking into a liquor store and asking for the most expensive bottle of liquor they had.


"Nimekuja kununulia mbabaz pombe ya father's day. Nataka ile ya dooh mob kabisaa for mbabaz. The most expensive one kabisaa, nataka kubuiya mbabaz."

She ettled for a Louis XIII a brandy by Remy Martin. The liquor is valued at Ksh420,000. After conversing with the cashier for a while, she proceeded to pay using her credit card.
