Popular influencer Brian Chira has been arrested following defamatory statements he made against Tik Tok Queen and radio presenter Azziad Nasenya.
In a video shared on social media, Chira uttered unprintable words against Azziad which were highly defamatory. He went ahead and shared Azziad's number on social media.
According to Azziad's lawyer, for the past one week, Azziad has been receiving numerous messages and calls which are mostly insults from Chira's followers.
As a result of this, Azziad together with her team decided to pursue the matter in a legal manner through the computer misuse and cyber crime act.
According to the lawyer, the investigating officer and the DCI will carry out investigations inorder to take the next step which involves charging Chira before a court of law.
At this point, Chira has a right to apply for a police bail before he appears in a court of law where he will take a plea.
This is not the first time Chira is throwing shade and hauling insults at Kenyan celebrities.
Early this month, he called out Mulamwah for playing celebrity games on him. According to Chira, Mulamwah refused to take a picture with him at The National Theatre.
Chira took to his TikTok live sessions to rant about the entire situation. He expressed his frustration and reminded Mulamwah that he still has a long way to go.
"Imagine hii takataka inaniambia sitaki kuonekana na wewe. My friend, I am bigger than you. Ati ju unajenga nyumba. Mulamwah ni gari za kwenda wapi?"
In response, Mulamwah said Chira is too scandalous and he needs to change before they can work together.
