Kenyan disc jockey Joe Mfalme has landed a new job at NRG Radio. The DJ is set to set to take over the late night show, NRG Aluta.
The DJ shared the exciting news on social media revealing that he will be hosting the show which airs every Monday to Thursday from 10pm.
The DJ began his professional career in 2008 after finishing first runners up in a DJ competition. This led to his absorption at capital FM where he was connected up with multiple gigs.
DJ Joe Mfalme was three months old in employment at Homeboyz radio when he was fired in 2021. He had just joined the station after completing his 12 year contract at capital FM.
DJ Joe Mfalme, Shaffie Weru and Neville were fired after the station accused them of vouching for sexual and gender based violence.
Joe Mfalme and his colleagues were on the spot after they victim-shamed a lady who was thrown off the 12th floor of Ambank House by a man she met on Facebook. The station was forced to fire them after a public uproar.
In a previous interview, Shaffie Weru revealed there were bigger and complicated issues other that their comments.
