Tanzanian rapper Billnass has finally addressed claims that he fathered the son of Tanzanian socialite and entrepreneur Hamisa Mobetto.
Rumours had circulated since August 2022, suggesting that Diamond Platnumz wasn't the father of Hamisa's child, but rather Billnass.
In an interview with wasafi FM, Billnass maintained that he has never dated Hamisa Mobetto and there is no way he fathered her son.
The musician revealed that there is a time he was a good friend of Hamisa but at that time she already had two children.
Billnass further explained that when these rumours surfaced, Hamisa herself was confused and unhappy about the situation.
He emphasized that the child involved is a human being with his own father, and it's unfair to spread such baseless claims as it amounts to mere propaganda.
Billnass continued by expressing his belief that Diamond Platnumz is indeed the father of Hamisa's son and that they maintain a strong friendship.
For a while, Diamond Platnumz has been snubbing Hamisa Mobetto's son Dylan Abdul Naseeb even as he spends quality time with his other three children.
There were reports that Diamond was a deadbeat dad to Dylan after he snubbed him when he was celebrating his 5th birthday on August 8, 2022. According to the "Jeje" hit-maker it's only the Tanzanian beauty pageant queen who knows who the real father of Dylan is.
In December last year, Hamisa was angry following several reports that Dylan was not Diamond's son.
Some media pages claimed that Mobetto's son was fathered by Nandy's husband Billnass.
Photo comparisons of Billnass and Mobetto's five-year-old son Dylan were trending on social media in Tanzania.
The mother of two ultimately took to her Instagram account to rant while dismissing those claiming her son was sired by Billnass.
