Kenyan musician and Sol Generation Signee Benson Mutua has called out fans who are complaining about the costly VIP tickets for Solfest concert.
Sauti Sol will hold their last Sol fest concert as a group in November at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi.
The VIP tickets will go for Ksh 20,000 while regular tickets will be available at Ksh 6,500.
VIP fans will be able to enjoy the full Sauti Sol experience, including an up-close and personal performance, a 5-star banquet complete with complimentary drinks, and limited-edition Sauti Sol merchandise.
A section of fans took to social media to complain about the costly tickets, with many noting that the cost will hinder them from attending the highly anticipated concert.
In response, Sol Generation musician, Bensoul said people should stop dwelling on the broke mentality.
In addition, Bensoul claimed that those who cannot afford to raise 20,000 by November inorder to see Sauti Sol, have a long way to go.
"Kama 20K ya Kuona Sauti Sol inakushinda by November, you have a long way to go. Acha wenye pesa waende."
The musician said he is confident that the tickets are going to sell out.
SolFest 2023 Will Be Held In A Two-Day Event. The two-day event is set to cater to two different fan bases.
Thursday 2nd November concert has been labeled a VIP show, while Saturday’s 4th November, 2023 show is a fan show.
Described as “an unforgettable experience” the band urged fans not to miss out on a chance to see their farewell tour, sharing their culminating farewell concert will be at SolFest 2023.”
