Kenyan Chef Maliha Mohammed has started her journey towards attempting to break Guinness World Record for the longest home kitchen cooking marathon.

Chef Maliha will be cooking for 4days non stop ,90 Hours.

The self-taught chef will challenge the current record held by American Rickey Lumpkin of California, who cooked for 68 hours, 30 minutes, 1 second in December 2018.

The Kenyan chef  is in the Guinness book of world record for cooking for 75hrs non stop in 2019.

She prepared 400 recipes of local and international cuisines in the competition.

She has proven to be quite resilient in following her dreams and nothing can stop her from attaining to be somebody and make a big name for herself.

Maliha had a cooking trial on May 26th as she looked forward to the official marathon on August 11th. 

Sharing on social media, chef Maliha revealed that she put in an application in December 2022 for an attempt to break the record in 2023 and through an email she was informed the challenge will take place in August.

All foods prepared will be donated to street kids and orphanage homes.
