Media personality Oga Obinna has threatened to sue a man identified as Omosh Tajiri for using defamatory statement against him.
The man shared a video on social media claiming to be Obinna's younger brother. He said that their mother worked so hard to give Obinna a good life so that he could in turn help his siblings who were younger.
Omosh Tajiri claimed that after Obinna left home for Nairobi and after finding a good job, he neglected his family and has not been sending any help back home.
He added that Obinna is always busy and never available to attend family meetings or neighborhood fundraisers.
Omosh said he is now richer than Obinna and he takes care of their mother. He asked the media personality to look for him in person before he shares more information about him on social media.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, Obinna said it is wrong for people to defame others just for social media views and likes.
He said he does not know the man who claims to be his brother and if he does not retract the statement, he will sue him for defamation.
Obinna asked Omosh Tajiri to apologize on video within 24 hours, otherwise he will be dealing with his lawyers.
Months ago Obinna threatened to take legal action against Kenyan makeup artist Jony Hairdresser for claiming they were in a relationship.
Oga Obinna said every choice and decision people make have consequences and he will not sit with the media to try and clear his name and his lawyers will do that for him.
Jony hairdresser said the video was just a banter and was never meant to cause anyone harm. He apologized to Obinna and revealed that they have never met in person.
