EALA MP Winnie Odinga was among the hundreds of Kenyans who showed up to support Kenyan chef Maliha Mohammed as she attempted to break Guinness world records for longest home kitchen cooking marathon.
Winnie Odinga showed up at the Villa where chef Maliha was cooking surprising many who were not expecting her.
In support, she delivered equipment for the live shooting to ease the streaming, sound system and she also sent her DJ to deliver good entertainment as people waited for Chef Maliha to break the record.
" I saw online that when they were streaming, there were some difficulties and I sent my team from my company, I sent my DJ to deliver good vibes, some music love and laughter. We are already past the world record and still moving on. Imagine somebody has been awake for 5 days, that needs encouraging."
Chef Maliha started the journey towards breaking Guinness world records, days ago. Her aim was to cook for 4 days non stop.
The self taught chef was attempting to break the current record held by American chef Rickey Lumpkin who cooked for 68 hours, 30 minutes, 1 second in December 2018.
