Kenyan content creator Peter Kabi well known as Kabi Wajesus has opened up on his struggle with weed addiction and how he was introduced to the drug at a very young age.

In a long post on Instagram, Kabi revealed that he started smoking weed when he was in class 5, which was as a result of the desire to fit in and maintain friends.

Growing up in the ghetto, smoking was common at that age and there was also a plan for initiation which did not materialize when he was in class 6.

Kabi revealed that he was later diagnosed with tuberculosis and the doctor ordered him to completely quit smoking weed and cigarettes. He managed to for a few months but went back into it full force.

Kabi said at this point he realized he couldn't manage to quit on his own since he was totally addicted.

In 2013, he found salvation and became born again. Since he had fears of a relapse, he spared some joints but surprisingly, the moment he accepted christ, his addiction was gone.

He shared that he testified his faith to his struggles and through that he was able to overcome.

The father of three advised his fans against making drugs look cool, since there are children who are watching and they have no total control of the drugs which can lead them to a life of crime and addiction.
