US based Kenyan promoter Bernice Saroni has finally shared the truth about her divorce and her relationship with popular Mugithi singer Samidoh Muchoki.
In an interview with Oga Obinna, Bernice began by sharing her journey to the U.S., explaining that she moved to the country in November 2018 with her four children after experiencing marital difficulties with her husband.
The mother of four disclosed that she lived in Kenya when she got married to her now ex-husband and that all of her children were conceived in the country but were born in the US.
Saroni divulged that whenever she got pregnant, she would travel to the US when she was in her eighth month of pregnancy, give birth in the US and come back to Kenya when the baby was two months old.
Bernice Saroni is a cousin to Mugithi singer Samidoh. She hosted the singer's wife Edday Nderitu when she first relocated to the US before moving into her own house.
Edday and her three children left for the US in early May 2023 and were picked up by Bernice Saroni upon touching down in Boston, Massachusetts.
Regarding the allegations that arose after Samidoh's performance in the US, during which he and Bernice were spotted together, she clarified that their interactions were work-related.
Samidoh is a musician, and the time spent together was part of their professional collaboration. Bernice underlined that Samidoh had his separate accommodation.
Bernice also addressed the assertion that she had played a part in the separation of Samidoh and Edday.
She firmly stated that she had no involvement in the couple's marital issues. She conveyed her affection for Edday, emphasising that they are close, and asserted that her primary concern was Edday's well-being and happiness.
