Award winning Kenyan actress Jackie Matubia has offered a piece of advice to her fans especially when it comes to having children and starting a family.
In her most recent YouTube video, Jackie discussed her changed perspective on life. She revealed that she decided to travel to Dubai with her daughter's to celebrate her first born's 8th birthday a while ago.
The mother of two shared that she made the move because it was her daughter's dream and she decided to make it come true.
She went ahead to reveal that the trip was sponsored by her first baby daddy who is Zari's father. While at it, she asked her fans to be careful when choosing who to have children with.
"It was a family vacation, also the dad came through,. I keep telling you guys, even if you decide to get children, pateni watoto na watu wako na akili." she bursts out laughing. "Hehe juu wengine wetu pia, even me who is advising you pia kimeniramba. It is the truth though, I am as truthful as it comes."
Recently, Jackie Matubia revealed a few months ago that she and her first child's father, Kennedy Njogu, are co-parenting well. The two came together to commemorate Zari's transition from lower to upper school.
Jackie Matubia and Blessing Lungaho parted ways in June before their daughter turned one after a series of cryptic posts by the actress on social media.
On father's Day, She posted a humorous photo of a man lying next to a packet of diapers in a supermarket, suggesting that he had 'fainted' upon seeing the high cost of diapers.
The accompanying message read, "Happy Father's Day, deadbeats," indicating her frustration with fathers who shirk their parental responsibilities.
In a question and answer session with fans on Instagram, she talked about co-parenting her one-year-old daughter Zendaya with her baby daddy Blessing Lungaho.
In her statement, the mother of two stated that co-parenting is only applicable if the child's father is willing to be involved in the child's life.
"First and foremost, you give opportunities to interested fathers. The first thing to consider is whether the father is interested in the child."
Another user wondered if Blessing Lungaho is helping Jackie raise Zendaya or if she is parenting it all on her own.
In response to the query, Jackie just released a video of herself with the song Huniachi by Reuben Kigame and Gloria Muliro playing in the background and allowed her facial expressions to speak for themselves.
Jackie stated that her top priorities are her children's well-being and her own healing.
