American model, entrepreneur and socialite Lori Harvey and British actor Damson Idris have parted ways after one year of dating.
The two shared the news with the Hollywood reporter after a week of speculation of their breakup.
Eagle-eyed fans speculated there was trouble in paradise after noticing the pair deleted each others' photos from their Instagram and unfollowed each other.
"We are at a point in our lives where our individual paths require our full attention and dedication," the statement said. "We part ways remaining friends with nothing but love and respect for each other and the time we shared together."
The couple began dating at some point in December 2022 but waited until January to publicly announce their relationship.
Lori is the daughter of renowned Steve Harvey.
Before her involvement with Damson, she had been in a relationship with Michael B. Jordan for more than a year before they parted ways in June 2022.
Despite their breakup, Lori Harvey made it clear she was content with herself.
"I feel like this year especially, I'm really stepping into my own, coming into my own as a woman," Lori told E! News' Adrienne Bailon-Houghton in June 2022. "I feel like I'm officially kind of getting grown now, really learning myself."
She added that "love is the foundation to everything."
