Kenyan comedian and personality David Oyando well known as Mulamwah has shared a notice of intention to sue his baby mama Caroline Muthoni well known as Carrol Sonie for Defamation and child abuse.

According to the notice which Mulamwah shared on social media, his advocates sent a parental responsibility agreement on his behalf to Carrol Sonie on 26th September 2022.

The agreement did not elicit a response and this caused him to send her another notice on 1st February 2023.

He claims that Carrol Sonie has continued to defame him through her YouTube channel while simultaneously denying him access to his daughter.

According to the notice, Mulamwah is pained by a video shared on 29th November 2023 on Carrol's YouTube channel where she claimed he is a deadbeat father.

The notice claims that the statement is false since Carrol has on several occasions reversed money sent to her by the comedian without providing a good reason.

On the issue of parenting, Carrol Sonie also changed the child's name without her father's consent.

"Your accusations are not only untrue but also detrimental to our client's personal and professional reputation as he is a public figure. Your defamatory statements have caused significant harm to our client's reputation among right-thinking members of the society. The consequences of your actions have been exposing our client to online bullying ridicule and threats of personal harm," read the notice in part.

Carrol Sonie is required to publicly retreat the defamatory statement, immediately deleting all images and videos of her daughter from YouTube and share a copy of her birth certificate with a written explanation for the name change in a period of 10 days.
