Elani’s Bryan Chweya has Called Out Sautisol band member Savara for Criticizing Elani and claiming they fell off because of trying to compete with Sauti Sol.
In an interview with Miccheque podcast, Savara said Elani was talented at some point he helped them produce some songs.
According to Savara, the group made up of Bryan Chweya, Maureen Kunga and Wambui Ngugi has some challenges because the ladies felt they were the stars and Bryan was often left out.
He claimed the lack of gender balance in the group was a big challenge.
While at it, Savara said the group tried to compete with Sautisol and in the process the ended up falling off.
In response to Savara's claims, Bryan Chweya warned him against using Elani's name to chase clout. He added that Savara is bitter because Bien is doing well on his own.
Elani, known for hot songs such as Jana usiku, koo koo, Milele, hapo zamani and others, has not released new music in years.
In a previous interview, they revealed they were taking a break before making a comeback.
