Kenyan musician Wahu Kagwi is over the moon as her daughter Tumiso Mathenge turns 18.
Wahu took to Instagram to celebrate Tumi as she shared how unbelievable it is that her young girl is a full adult.
"Guysssss!!!! @tumi.mathenge is 18 years old today!!! Isn’t that crazy??? A full adult!! 🙌🏾😄😄. Its the most surreal feeling ever. It feels like you were born just the other day, and now here you are…a full adult with her whole future ahead of her."
Wahu shared that although her daughter is now grown, she will always be there for her.
"We want you to always remember that we love you and pray nothing but the best for you. Welcome to the bitter sweet reality of adulting 😅😅😅. Remember, we have your back 💯 and will always be here cheering you on. Fam please help us wish @tumi.mathenge a happy birthday as she enters adulting! 🙌🏾👑🌸💥🎉."
Kenyans got to know of the existence of Tumiso Mathenge when her mother, singer Wahu, announced her existence in a hit song, Sweet Love.
In the song, Wahu crooned about how she would love and care for her first baby, spending all of her days thinking about her.
baby Tumiso arrived in 2006 to the love and affection of her mother and father, singer Nameless.
Aside from being a celeb baby and a public figure in her own right, she also dabbles in modelling.
Tumi is also the founder of Girl to girl Kenya, a foundation that spreads period positivity.
