Peter Okoye, one half of the famous Nigerian music group P-Square, has reacted to his brother Paul's recent interviews.
Paul claimed he wrote and performed 99% of their songs. Peter felt hurt and disappointed by Paul's ongoing disregard for his contributions to the group.
In an open letter on Instagram,
Peter mentioned several songs he had written, such as "Ejeajo," "Get-Squared," "Bizzy Body," and "Personally," which Paul did not recognize.
Peter stated, "Dear brother Paul, I have told you many times that I am not competing with you or anyone else. However, it hurts to see you give many interviews where you undermine my work in the group we built together. In your latest interviews, you said you wrote and sang 99% of all P-Square songs and called our song with TI, 'Ejeajo,' a failure, using YouTube views to back your claim. You never mentioned other songs like 'Get-Squared,' 'Bizzy Body,' 'Personally,' 'Roll It,' 'Temptation,' 'Alingo,' 'More than a Friend,' 'Shekini,' 'Say Your Love,' 'Gimme Dat,' 'Senorita,' 'IGBEdu,' and more. Do you think these songs are failures too?"
Peter pointed out that Paul often uses "I" and "me" in interviews, making it seem like he is the only talent in P-Square.
