Bishop Ben Kiengei has issued an apology for making body-shaming remarks about Kenyan social media influencer Pritty Vishy.
"Prity Vishy iam really sorry and i take this moment to highly apologise for mentioning your name in a show where i went over board and mentioned you in a wrong way, Get a space in your heart to forgive me for addressing you in a wrong way......This will never happen in future, i take it as my mistake, Pole my sister na karibu sana JCM CHURCH, KANISA LA WATU WOTE....."
In a recent interview, Bishop Kiengei spoke about Stevo Simple Boy and his relationship with Pritty Vishy.
While at it, he claimed that Pritty Vishy wanted to be a celebrity as well yet she didn't have a talent like her ex boyfriend.
He insinuated that Pritty Vishy is just a plus sized girl and she is not as appealing.
Pritty Vishy took to social media to make it know that people tagged her in the video and interpreted it to her. She said that the remarks hurt her so much.
In a video shared on Instagram, Pritty Vishy said she will pay a visit to JCM church so that the Bishop can say the exact words to her face.
"Pastor @bishopbenjcmchurch you are an hyprocite,you hide in church and pretend to be a man of God,i thought you read the bible?do you know the verse that says that we are all created in the likeness and image of God ?Do you have a wife?daughter?mother?do you know the meaning of respect?do you respect them?what do you teach your children?what do you preach to your church members?do they know how stupid and ignorant you are?Why hide in church and take the tittle bishop?how do you feel now that you have embarrassed me publicly?do you know i have a mother?do you know how she feels about this?you and other hyprocrites that hide in churches are the reason why we stopped stepping in “the house of the lord”Since you did so weeeeell to remind me that i am ugly,unattractive and fat which all this is true coz i mean🤷♀️so i lets mert in your church,stand on that alter,infront of your church members and you should repeat all those words….so that no matter how hard i will try.i will remember a man of God said that i am ugly and unattractive…Be blessed our man of God see you soon in the lords house☺️."
