A heartbreaking video of Professional Journalist Nasibo Kabale, who is now living in the streets has left Kenyans concerned.

In the video, Nasibo Kabale who is living in very poor conditions, explains how she quit her job due to depression and life took a different turn.

Kabale shares her experiences of living on the streets, her struggles with mental health and homelessness.

The former Nation Media Group journalist now finds herself in a vulnerable position, struggling to cope with her circumstances.

She was once a voice for health issues during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite receiving a Presidential Award in 2020, the pressure and distress from her reporting became overwhelming.

She was hospitalised for her mental health issues and prescribed anti-depressants, but her condition continued to deteriorate, prompting her decision to leave her stable job to prioritize her health.

At the moment, she is homeless and separated from her young daughter who is living with her dad.

The mother of one is asking for help to get off the streets so she could fend for her child. She added that she is currently doing odd jobs and hopes to get back to writing so that she can regain control of her life.

Kenyans have formed a WhatsApp group to raise money and take former Nation journalist Nasibo Kabale to hospital so she can get her life back on track. 

Eric Omondi has also revealed that he is looking for her.
