Kenyan digital Creator Mungai Eve has revealed that she is in a relationship after breakup with director Trevor.
Speaking with YouTubers Nebz and Nyathira, Eve shared that her relationship is almost one year old, adding that by the time she announced her previous relationship was over, she had already moved on.
She revealed that things are going well and she is really hopeful that it will lead to marriage.
Speaking of her new man, she said that according to how things are going, she is expecting a traditional wedding ceremony very soon and it seems like her man is ready to pay her dowry.
While talking about her relationship with Trevor, she shared that it was as if she was going to pay her own dowry if the relationship had lasted.
“Saizi Pahali Niko Naona Nitapelekewa Dowry Soon, Lakini Pale Pengine Nilikuwa, Nadhani Ni Mimi Ningejitolea Dowry.”
Explaining her statement, Eve said since they were working and making money together, then the money he would have used to pay dowry would be her money too.
Trevor and Eve confirmed they had parted ways both personally and professionally on February 19, 2024 after being together for nearly 5 years.
In a series of Insta Stories, Trevor disclosed that he had assumed full control of their YouTube channel.
He rebranded the “Mungai Eve” YouTube channel to “Kenya Online Media” and said Eve's services "are no longer needed".
Speaking in an interview when she hosted fellow content creator Andrew Kibe, Eve said many reasons contributed to their separation.
Director Trevor is currently in a relationship with Yvonne, who he introduced to the public in July.
He revealed that Yvonne left her job so that she could help him with his job at Kenya online media.
Yvonne is a content strategy manager at Kenya online media and Trevor's executive assistant.
In August, The couple celebrated 7 months of being together.
