Ezekiel Otuoma died at 31 following prolonged illness. He had been battling motor neurone disease (MND), a debilitating condition that progressively damages the nervous system.
Diagnosed in May 2021, Otuoma’s illness marked the end of his football career.
The disease significantly affected his speech and mobility, confining him to a wheelchair and necessitating round-the-clock care. His wife, alongside close friends and well-wishers, played a crucial role in supporting him.
Condolences to family and friends and may his soul rest in peace.
